It is home to a wide variety of birds and has a long and wide stretch of white sand beach with very beautiful scenery. Laem Son National Park covers an area of approximately 315 square kilometers.
Coastal features of the national park include a sinking coast. This creates beaches along the narrow shore with many small short streams, such as Khlong Lat Nod, Khlong Khanut, and Khlong Bang Ben, these canals carry sediment to deposit along river mouths and coasts. The coastal features at the mouth of the canals are covered with mangrove forests. In summer, it is the best time to visit Laem Son National Park.
